"We are all in this big world together - we may as well inspire one another!" - Ginnie Cappaert (quote from journal)
The season at my new gallery is in full swing, and with that I get to enjoy interacting with the art lovers and collectors that are seeking art here in Door County. It is an amazing place! Not a day goes by that I don't get to 'talk art' with either a local artist/gallery owner (who have all been so supportive) or an art collector or an artist or an art student. They all make my day.
As an artist, I understand how wonderful 'inspiration' is to us. I have so many inspirations, whether it be a walk in nature, a quiet horse ride, a float on my paddleboard on the lake, or in the human sense, another artist. As an established artist, I LOVE to share and inspire others to 'create' in any sense that their soul is speaking to them. Whether it be cooking, gardening, painting or writing...I truly believe that everyone has a talent and a little inspiration can go a long way.
Today I had a wonderful, young artist in my gallery. I enjoyed showing my studio space to her and her family as well as talking with them about some of the different artist techniques of mine or other artists.
Being inspired...and inspiring others...a great joy in life! What inspires you?
