"The joy of life comes from our encounters with new experiences, and hence there is no greater joy than to have an endlessly changing horizon, for each day to have a new and different sun." - unknown
Oh, to have the joy of the sun! These bleak winter days make us surely appreciate the sun here in the Midwest. I've got my snowshoes in action and my dog, Vincent, hitting the trails with me and on the sunny days that is pure bliss and inspiration. The blue sky is so brilliant casting its shadows of branches onto the pure white snow. Yes we have snow.
Things that inspire me:
-a quiet walk, hike or horse ride
-a new tube of paint
-travels
-as I said before, the SUN
-a new adventure
-a positive quote
-a messy, yes messy studio
-my children and pets and all those beings in my life adventure!
Comments:
Ditto on the new tube of paint! Also: my first cup of coffee, a good book, a trip to an art museum, gallery or artist's studio.
Love this painting! Nature always fills me with inspiration. And my children inspire me in ways that are often difficult to articulate. Books, words, poems.
