"There is a voice that doesn't use words. Listen."  Rumi

A time of transition. This past week I had friends and family help me haul 'stuff' to the new gallery location which will also be my summer studio space. My Stephenson studio will be where I work in the winters when the gallery here in Door County is closed.  But I have to say while spending these winters days here in Door County..I like the winter here too.  What's not to like about the quiet and the beautiful sunsets!
I am starting to get the new gallery space set up and as art arrives from the artists, I will keep you posted.   Stay tuned for the journey as it unfolds.
For the latest news and more images check out my Facebook pages under Ginnie Cappaert or Cappaert Contemporary Gallery!  Stay warm!

"The joy of life comes from our encounters with new experiences, and hence there is no greater joy than to have an endlessly changing horizon, for each day to have a new and different sun." - unknown

Oh, to have the joy of the sun!  These bleak winter days make us surely appreciate the sun here in the Midwest.  I've got my snowshoes in action and my dog, Vincent, hitting the trails with me and on the sunny days that is pure bliss and inspiration.  The blue sky is so brilliant casting its shadows of branches onto the pure white snow.  Yes we have snow.
Things that inspire me:
-a quiet walk, hike or horse ride
-a new tube of paint
-travels
-as I said before, the SUN
-a new adventure
-a positive quote
-a messy, yes messy studio
-my children and pets and all those beings in my life adventure!

What inspires you?
