simple collage/mixed media class in which students will experiment with
layering collage items using Ginnie’s mixed media painted papers as a
base. These TAGS can be used as
bookmarks, gift tags etc. Easy and fun!

Dive
into the world of collage and mixed media.
Ginnie shares all her secrets and discoveries in this playful art
medium. Students will learn to make
Ginnie’s famous 4x4” mini mixed medias incorporating papers, textures, photos,
found objects into eclectic little pieces of art. Students will make 2 of the 4x4” canvas for
their own private art collection. Anyone
can do this!

You
must have taken the previous Mixed-Media Collage class. This is an extension of that class on a much
bigger scale. Students will bring in a
small piece of furniture and learn how to incorporate collage into transforming
a blah room accent into a piece of art!
This was so much fun last year – you should see what the ‘artists’ came
up with!

display your ever growing jewelry collection!

you know, Ginnie loves journaling, reading, sketching…..these creative little
collage journals are perfect for all of the above or just jotting notes to
self! Makes a great gift, too! Each student will complete one small journal
using collage/mixed media/wax techniques.
Beginning Acrylic Still Life $75.00

February 16, 1pm-4pm
This
will be a class for total beginners in the acrylic painting medium and for our
first project we will be painting from a still life arrangement onto a gallery
wrapped canvas, following Ginnie’s method of light and loose brush
strokes. All materials provided.
Beginner Watercolor $40.00

February 16 9 am-noon
Learn
simple, beginner techniques for fun-filled watercolor painting. This class is for everyone who has always
wanted to try art, but has no prior experience.

Studio open for all those that have attended a
previous class with Ginnie. You can
choose to work in collage, watercolor, acrylic….a great way to spend a winter
day!
Last winter’s classes were so much fun that I am
again offering to host more art classes in my studio. I firmly believe when you are given talents
that you should share them!
New this year, I will do classes/parties for
groups of friends. You get at least 6
friends together, pick a date and we’ll do a class – and of course create,
wine, cheese = FUN!
Also, coming this summer will be another “Adult
– Wild and Colorful Acrylic Class”
AND “Kids Art Camp” (which was so much fun and filled up with 20
kids coming from as far away as Chicago, Peshtigo, Menominee to attend!) –
Watch for dates on these!
ONE FINAL NOTE!
Most of these classes in the past have ‘filled up’ – and filled up
quickly, so I urge you to register early so that you won’t be
disappointed! To register, you must pay
the class fee in FULL and it is non-refundable.
