This past weekend I had my second solo show for the year, "Fieldscapes" is on display through October at Bindley Collections Gallery in Middleton, WI. I had a great weekend with friends just hanging out, doing 'yoga on gibralter rock', eating great food and of course attending the opening reception. I find that I put so much work, like all artists do, into a show that afterwords I feel a wonderful sense of accomplishment and a need for a little down time.
Now that I am home, unpacked, and somewhat situated, I am re-packing for my trip to Italy. I am so looking forward to some much needed inspiration. It will be interesting to see how the colors and flavors of Italy will influence my current body of work, we shall see. Chow!
