As a full time artist for many, many years, I know how hard it is to "work" as an artist - not always during successful years, but always continuing to paint and create just because that's what's inside you. I sometimes want to give up but then can't imagine life "not being creative" so I continue on - enjoying the process, even if I'm working way to hard. I was never good at relaxing anyway. I do believe that talent is partly "a gift" and those of us who are blessed with talents should definitely be using them!
