As the weather warms up and winter turns to spring, I am anxiously awaiting the day when I can get my HOT WAX aka. encaustics out. Because of the fumes I only work outside with this medium so it's been since last fall that I was able to experiment. I'm getting anxious to start - yet have no thougts in my mind. Usually when I start working I have some sort of idea in my mind and then I let intuition take over and usually it ends up being something totally different than what I had visioned. However, I have no thoughts in my mind - yet - so we shall see!
I've been doing a lot of spring cleaning and tidying up in the studio and not as much painting as I would like, a transition time, I guess that's good! Happy Easter!
